2019 CALL FOR PROPOSALS
The 2019 SETESOL Program Committee invites you to submit a session, workshop, or paper/research proposal for the 2019 Southeast Regional TESOL Conference at the Double Tree Hotel at the entrance of Universal Studio in Orlando, FL. The conference theme is “Future Tense: Entering an Age of Empowerment.” SETESOL is seeking proposals that reflect the best and most promising topics, research, and practice to support quality education of English learners (ELs) and adult ELs from diverse populations. Please use the guidelines below to help you prepare the best proposal possible.

Proposal Components
Presenter Information: Name, title, institutional affiliation, email address, physical address, and telephone number of all presenters on proposal.
Presenter Bio: 30-word limit.
Title: 12-word limit.
Strand: Choose one.
Presentation Type: Practice-Oriented Session, Demonstration/Workshop, or Paper/Research (45 minutes)
Abstract: 100-word limit.This will be used in the program. Please proofread.
Proposal Summary: 300-word limit
Selection Criteria: Timeliness of topic, relevance to conference theme, positive contribution to the TESOL field, and clarity. The following rubric will be used.
